Life goes on...

Well,

6 months in London, gone!
1 year and 9 months of Traineeship, gone!


Evaluation: Excellent, Outstanding, and Brilliant!!! I want more of this coming regularly, otherwise my life will get into the day by day routine, I'd hate my job and myself...cannot let it happen.

Coming:

Wedding - Lifetime! Happiness exists only if you have someone to share it with, I think I've got along the best company possible, time and God will say...
Brand Executive position - less than 1 year, I hope...
...
...

What is left? A good piece of experience and friends, a fine tuned knowledge and understanding of Marketing but over all that, a very good understanding of different personalities, people, human beings...etc.

I think I'm a different person now, a more complete one, a better one...let's check that out, I will give some time to prove it myself. Again, time will say, hopefully will confirm I'm right!

Priorities!

Today, I've been thinking on my own since one of my colleagues stressed a sentence that made me think, it was after leaving the office.

I usually think of my self as someone with principles, solid ones, but today, that person showed me up that nothing farer from the truth, and in some extent I was stunned, shocked about that simple, minor, ridiculous and stupid comment that had undermined my self confidence.

After all that thought, the only conclusion I got was that everything in life is RELATIVE, what a surprise and unveiled thing you will be thinking, but for me, I have to say that has waken me up and blown my mind away for a while.

My friend’s point was completely right, and as a matter of fact, I was blind, living in a fake reality that was making me feel comfortable. I have to wake up and live the real life I’ve always wanted to live, stand up from my comfortable couch and action the button what is making me move away from this comfort.

The point my friends is the following, even though I consider myself a person with solid conditions and beliefs, the day by day routine, is getting you inside a vicious circle where is impossible to get out once you’re inside…and you then fail to yourself miserably.

Well, I hope after this trigger point, I can act and get away from this area as soon as possible and live my life again –in all their senses and intensities…-.

Don't let reality get you asleep in its corrupted, non-principled and comfortable couch, wake up and live your lifes the way you dreamed! This is the only possible way you will enjoy it!!

History yourself!!!

Hi everybody again!!
Well, given this spare time that Christmas always brings, I've been thinking about life on its broad sense, but just a bit.
Let’s talk about something that is linked to our lives but not in an über-evident way, that you can realise it without even thinking about it.
Human History is made out of revolutions, -just think about the French Revolution, the Independence War in the U.S., Civil War in Spain, 11S, etc.-, indeed we can not deny that CHANGE –on its broad meaning- is the fuel that moves the world’s engine, and those changes have two different types of strength:

1. Radical change: usually named as Revolution, they mainly happen when the bases on the root of the problem are dept rooted.
2. Soft change: these tend to be changes which occur but no one knows exactly when or where they began or who was the person or the group of persons who boosted them.

Big and important changes are the ones who are defined on the first point, therefore, we can assume that if SOFT changes do not imply a big or dramatic adaptation, are the Radical changes the ones which make the difference.
This post is oriented to support the post that I wrote a time ago, about the importance and relevance of an outstanding ADAPTATION capability to changes in order to succeed.

New season begins and everything stays the same

Has it ever been finished?
It seems as if having a rest is not allowed.
Changes are the only constant on our life and the ability to adapt has already become a key factor to perform best as possible a time to here.
In a world where everybody is working on its own pursuit of happiness it seems as if the world is not big enough, or at least has scarce possibilities to pay off everybody.
Happiness can be seen from multiple perspectives but the problem comes when the vast majority of us link happiness to our professional success, are there enough chances for everybody’s “wanna be”?? I’m not quite sure about it.
From my perspective the factor which is becoming crucial in the career development of all of us -unless you are a big company CEO's son, daughter, nephew or similar- is ADAPTIBILITY, in terms of multitasking abilities.
As one of my former boss said; "if you are not idiot and you try hard, things usually come to a good end. The problem surges when you don't try hard or simply you are an idiot."
Think about it.

Esto comienza a ser normal... y ya cansa!!!!

Otra jornada, otra vez la misma historia. No quiero que se piense que no acepto las victorias de los rivales, sólo que me parece que podrían ser de otra manera.

El Barça es demasiado equipo como para necesitar que los arbitros siempre le desatasquen los partidos que no tiene muy claros con acciones clave, que además dejan muy mal moralmente al rival.

Ayer todo el mundo hablaba del GOLAZO de Ronaldinho, a mi me pareció realmente increíble, pero esto ya cansa...un Barça sin ideas en su feudo, tuvo la ventaja, como siempre, de la señalización de un penalty (inexistente) a favor, y esto ya huele... Además me fascina el modo en que los periodistas catalanes hacen demagogia con el tema, todos hablan de algo que ocurría hace 10 o 20 años con el Madrid, con esto, desde mi punto de vista lo único que hacen es reafirmar la teoría que vengo desarrollando y es que el Barça lleva más de 2 años sin salir perjudicado por una decisión arbitral, ahora entiendo porque el Sr. Rijkaard se enoja tanto cuando le pitan algo erróneo en contra (recuerdo su monumental mosqueo en el partido contra el Chelsea y contra el Valencia), y es que claro, no está acostumbrado.

A mi me queda la siguiente pregunta: ¿habría marcado Dinho ese mismo gol con un 0-0 en el marcador y con la frustración de no haber podido ganar el partido hasta ese momento? pues señores, nadie me va a poder demostrar que sí, así que... ya está bien de demagogia y acepten la realidad.
Mientras tanto, el resto sigue a lo suyo, el Madrid juega horrible pero gana, que no es poco, y además ya ha ganado a 2 de los grandes de nuestra Liga (Barça y Valencia) y el Sevilla intenta no perder comba, ayer con un fútbol de rodillo doblegó a un Athletic que tiene muy mala pinta y que sólo se salvará por errores de sus rivales, no creo que por méritos propios.
A todo esto añadir las alegrías que me llegan desde la 2ª división donde 2 equipos de mi provincia están en los puestos privilegiados de la clasificación luchando por las plazas que dan paso a la 1ª división y es que ya es hora que la U.D. Almería dé una alegría a nuestra tierra de sol, mar y plástico.

A falta de buen futbol...

Y es que Cisco System, ha llegado a un acuerdo con el Real Madrid, por el que esta empresa norteamericana va a gestionar los elementos de mantenimiento y seguridad de las instalaciones del Real Madrid CF por una red convergente de telefonía IP. Esto va a permitir controlar la calefacción, la iluminación, el riego del césped y la vigilancia del estadio.

'Lo importante no es la tecnología, lo importante es lo que los seres humanos somos capaces de hacer con ella', destacó el director general de Cisco en España, Alberto Mazagatos. En el Bernabéu, la tecnología de Cisco pretende 'mejorar la experiencia de fútbol' de los asistentes: es capaz de controlar la temperatura, pero también vigila que el nivel de la megafonía no sobrepase los 100 decibelios y las más de 350 cámaras del estadio permiten a los operarios dirigir a los aficionados hacia las salidas menos concurridas.
La eficacia del sistema en casos de emergencia quedó probada el pasado 12 de diciembre de 2004 cuando el estadio se desalojó en ocho minutos tras una amenaza de bomba en el partido de Liga entre el Madrid y la Real Sociedad. En 11 segundos los tornos de acceso en las 53 puertas del estadio se retiraron para permitir una salida más rápida y fluida.

¡¡¡¡¡La verdad es que hay que reconocer que sómos grandes hasta para esto!!!!!

Una de genios...

Ayer fué una tarde no apta para medianías, fue una tarde-noche trepidante, sólo apta para GENIOS.

¡¡¡Que no, que no y que no!!! Me niego a hablar sobre el clásico... Sería oportunista/ventajista/resultadista... pero la verdad es que me encantó y la presencia de genios estuvo asegurada por ambos bandos: al pequeño saltamontes Messi y sus diabluras se unio anoche un recuperado O' Principe Robinho que también pidió su parte de protagonismo y al que Zambrotta todavía está buscando por la banda derecha del Fondo Sur.

Por lástima no lo pude ver cómo siempre acostumbro a ver estos partidos, en casa, con mi padre y mis hermanos...mi cuerpo estaba en Madrid, pero mi mente estaba con ellos, gritando, celebrando y abrazándonos con cada uno de los goles del Madrid. Al menos estuve con mi Esposa que suple perfectamente con creces la falta de los primeros. La verdad es que ningún aficionado al fútbol hubiera previsto este resultado, ni el "meneo" que ayer le dió el RM al FCB en el Santiago Bernabeu.

Otro genio, consiguió ayer un hito histórico para el deporte español, ahora sí que podemos presumir orgullosos de tener un bicampeón del mundo de F1 entre nosotros -y además del Madrid, este chico lo tiene todo-. El chaval es un genio, y a pesar de no caer muy bien a la gente, yo lo defiendo, creo que está donde está por méritos propios, no le debe nada a nadie, por eso no le tiene que caer bien a la gente, se dedica a hacer su trabajo, es el mejor en él y con eso basta. Ayer le ganó al nº 1 de la historia de este deporte y lo hizo con todas las de la ley, sin excusas ni peros...

En fin, que sólo falló el otro genio del deporte español, Rafa Nadal, "estirpe española y caballero madridista" como rezaba ayer alguna pancarta en el Bernabeu, que no pudo deleitarnos con su fuerza jugando al tenis y no pudo revalidar su título en el Masters de Madrid, pero bueno, ayer se le permitía, al menos no fue gafe para el club que tanto admira y sigue.
